Earthdawn 4E: Rogues' Gallery 29 - River Pirate, T'skrang [Alt]

This is the twenty-ninth 4E Rogues' Gallery, an ongoing series about Earthdawn Fourth Edition. Introduction and Index.

Everything contained here is the work of a fan and not associated with FASA Games.

Like other entries in the Rogues' Gallery [Alt] series, this presents NPCs in a different fashion easier to use in combat. Essentially, these are disposable opponents who don't need to have skills referenced. They are also written to be more appropriate as combat challenges for the given Circle.

This particular entry presents t'skrang river pirates a various degrees of competency to be easily dropped into any game. The intent is to build this up with more such simplified entries over time.

River Pirate, T'skrang [Recruit]

Whether family tradition, desperation, or following a non-traditional plan for economic development, these young t'skrang are the newest recruits among river pirates. They're eager, boastful, and fearless. Until things go poorly, then their attitude may change. Those just after money are much less likely to stick around when things go poorly.

River Pirate, T'skrang [Seasoned]

A lot like the younger crew, but less young. They probably have some loyalty to the rest of the crew by this point—more than a typical bandit—but honor among theives can be a rare and precious thing. Still, there is safety and the ability to score more loot in numbers (even if the relative share is smaller) and they don't want to ruin that unless they have to.

River Pirate, T'skrang [Elite]

The most dangerous non-adepts on the crew, they may lead the attack, or wait in the wings for their opportunity to make a splash. If this isn't a family affair, the odds are decent they've made their money by now and are either looking for more, or enjoy the life.
